Little Brooklyn Food House Reviews

Delicious food at an amazing value. $13.99 for soup, a plate overflowing with food, bread, and even a small cup of tea. Everything was fresh, and the owner and his family were super nice and helpful. A real hidden gem

13 dollars for a massive plate of food with a soup and drink. Super flavorful, and seemed healthy. Very clean and nice tables. Kind service. Would eat again.

Wonderful home made food. Fresh and wonderfully prepared. The ambience is warm and welcoming . As soon as we walked in , we felt as if we were in a bistro in a neighborhood in a small town in Ukraine where we were guests . We will be planning our next trip very soon. The specialty soups and dishes are delectable. Save some for us!!!

On my local hunt to find unique food options I discovered this little gem. This is my first experience with Ukrainian food and all I can say is wow! It's a quaint little spot but extremely clean and welcoming. It's a counter service style restaurant. Lunch is 10.99 for two proteins and two sides or 13.99 adding soup. I opted out of the soup option because I noticed the portions were huge! The meal was served with fresh rye bread and juice. I can't say enough about the flavors, it was truly a delicious meal. Come by and support your local business owners, you won't be disappointed!

If you are looking for authentic russian food this is the place place to go. Lines can get long (10-15min) around lunchtime. Large portions for good prices.

Cute family ran establishment. The food was really good. We got 2 lunch specials w/o soup. The portions were ginormous! 1. Stuffed Cod w/ barley and roasted potatoes 2. Chicken Liver, Meatball w/ barley and eggplants We were served complimentary Fruit Punch and bread alongside our meal. For us the stars of the meal were the Barley, The Stuffed Cod, Roasted Potatoes, and The Meatball. The only con was food temperature was inconsistent. The food is sitting out in the open on a steam table. One of our plates was placed in the microwave to heat up the food and the other was not. We were also not given ice with our punch but we realized as Americans we have a love affair with ice so we could survive one meal without. Plus the punch was sooo good! We took an order of Apple Blintz for the road. We were very satisfied with the price paid for all the food we received. We were also informed we could special order vegetable stuffed cabbage rolls.

Fabulous first time visit to the Little Brooklyn Food House. We each had a sampling of Ukrainian home cook food. Highly recommend you visit.

So Great !! Amazing authentic European food. Fresh ! large generous portions. everything is being cooked and prepared on site in their kitchen. Service is great as well . nice atmosphere. making you feel very welcome, every time. Marina and the entire team are great !! will come back soon.

Never had Russian Food, but it was very good. Entrees served 1or 2 proteins (depends on meat or fish) with 2 sides and soup or without soup. I had Halibut with roasted potato and barley with mushrooms. All food are home made and no vigorous seasoning. I tasted natural flavor from each ingredient and very pleasant. It is not full service restaurant, but it has cozy and family oriented atmosphere. I'll definitely going back!

What a value for the money. My wife and I ate here on Thursday. We had a chicken quarter, chicken meatball, chicken schnitzel along with rice and potatoes. A vey full plate of food. Everything was delicious. Schnitzel was our favorite, nice taste on coating and tender chicken. Chicken quarter and meatball were also very good. The price 10.99 per plate, told them their price was too low. If you have not tried this place you should!
